In my life before full-time property management, I was a full-time elementary school teacher, managing investment properties on the side with my husband, Howard Buckley. Prior to 2014, I managed and inspired the creative minds of four to nine-year-olds for over a decade, while co-managing and proudly representing a handful of residential rental properties around Toronto.

With the support of my family and friends, I made the jump into full-time property management over eight years ago and haven't looked back. Over the past two decades, I have honed the essential skill of multi-task management; one of many skills I bring to the table as a property manager. From keeping on top of the endless array of responsibilities as a school teacher to managing our Toronto rental property investments, while also being a Mom and a wife, I have proven myself capable of successfully handling an assortment of tasks that come my way, both expected and unexpected.

I take great pride in my role as property manager and co-owner of Bridgeway Property Management, and that's evident in the positive relationships I've established with tenants, the trusting partnerships I've built with property owners and tradespeople, and the great deal of TLC I put into everything I do. I'm excited to offer my experience and services to property investors across Toronto who aspire to a high level of management.

CFO & Accounting Manager

Born and raised in Toronto, I know this city like the back of my hand and love all it has to offer. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in mechanical engineering, I purchased my first investment property, a student rooming house in Guelph, Ontario. This was the beginning of my journey into the world of real estate investment and property management.

Since then, I joined forces with my business partner, life companion and wife, Shirley Steele. Together we have successfully purchased, sold, owned, and operated various residential investment properties, in addition to undertaking many real estate projects, from major renovations to a complete condo conversion project.

I later went on to complete my Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Toronto, but my passion for Toronto real estate investment and management has remained strong. Coming from a scientific and mathematical background makes me perfectly suited to the roles at Bridgeway of accounting manager and book keeper extraordinaire.

With over ten year’s experience in Logistics, I felt the need to pursue another passion of mine related to Property Management. As a previous tenant and now current landlord, I know firsthand how it feels to be on both sides, this has allowed me to improve and provide a better experience for Bridgeway's tenants. After renovating my home's basement unit, it really gave me a better understanding of each trade skill and overseeing this project has helped me identify and quickly repair any maintenance issues.

It brings me great joy being the Maintenance Coordinator and Property Inspector at Bridgeway Property Management, where I am able to use my past experiences and apply them to help property owner clients and tenants navigate through maintenance and repairs. I love problem-solving so I believe this passion will help me identify and others identify when issues arise. I look forward to providing you with the best experience possible and building a long-term relationship.

I was born in Toronto and raised in St. Catharines before returning in 2015 to complete my Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of Toronto. I have been living in the city for over seven years now and have loved every moment of it. Since the completion of my degree, I have been working as a personal trainer, gaining valuable experience helping clients reach their goals and potential. When the opportunity arose to work as a leasing agent with Bridgeway Property Management, I thought it would be a perfect role for me to apply my service skills in a new and exciting setting.

As a previous tenant in multiple properties, I have realized the importance of having an excellent property management team. This, along with my experience as a personal trainer, has provided me with the tools to assist our tenants and property investment owners.

As a child, I regularly travelled, but for me, nothing compared to Toronto. The transition of moving from Newmarket to Toronto at the age of seven was a big change. Growing up in this beautiful city, exploring the different neighbourhoods and older parts of Toronto and learning about its history has been fascinating to me!

I received my certificate in Personal Support Work in 2016. I worked in and out of homes with elders for several years and found this work very rewarding, knowing I could make their day. Later, I obtained a certificate as a Professional Petstylist in 2020. Having two dogs of my own sparked an interest in grooming and keeping dogs healthy and paw-parents happy satisfies me. Over the years, watching my brother run his own contracting business specializing in bathroom and kitchen renovations, I gained knowledge about flipping homes and this intrigued me to want to learn more about this industry and real estate.

As a leasing agent with Bridgeway Property Management, I am excited to bring my customer service experience to the role to facilitate both tenants and property investment owners. I take gratification in building strong connections with people and helping them find what they are looking for.
